Everyone is asking: Where is Maine Mendoza?

Even if Vic Sotto, during his interview with PEP, confirmed that the other half of the famous Aldub, is not suspended, everyone is wondering what happened to her and where she is.

After the phenomenal star wrote the open letter to the Aldub fans, the actress started to lie low. Everyone also noticed that she has been absent from the noontime show “Eat Bulaga!” since November 28.

The last public appearance she made was at a smartphone launch last December 1 and the last tweet she made was also on the same day, regarding the rescheduling of the endorsement event.

Missing in Action

During the Preview Best Dressed Ball 2017 held last December 4, people noticed her absence, even if she is included in the magazine’s best dressed and is the cover girl for Preview’s December 2017 to January 2018 issue.

The 22-year-old star remained silent and away from the public eye. Because of her noticeable absence from the limelight, everybody is speculating how she is doing.

After posting the much talked about the open letter to fans, Maine received mixed reactions from fans. The young actress felt the burden of sharing her feelings and thoughts to the public, including feeling that some people took her words the wrong way.

Following Her Own Tips

In her “Yup, I Am That Girl” book, Maine wrote:

You know what they say, ‘Some things are better left unsaid.’

She must be trying to keep calm and carry on since things started to get out of her control.

Always see the bright side of things. Hindi araw-araw Pasko, ika nga ni Lola Nidora. Whatever’s bothering you, lilipas din yan.

Maybe Maine is listening to her own advice and trying to weather the storm. Until then, we will wait for her return.
